FTN - With a heart for our local community
Who are ftn?

What does ftn stand for?
It stands for Friends Together Now

So who are we?

We are a group of Christians who either live, or worship in the Coal Aston/Snapehill/Holmesdale areas of Dronfield.
We are part of the Churches in the our area.

We love where we live and the community we live in. We want to be involved in the life in the community and to build it up. We want to share the love Jesus has for the people in it.
Through out the year we will put on events, especially for families and the over 50’s in our community.
We recognise that the pace of modern day society means that people can feel isolated and find it hard to make friends with the people around them in the community. We want to be facilitate friendship building and share Jesus love.
We also recognise our part in the global community and want, from time to time and where we are able, to raise money for global events where people are suffering because of natural disaster, disease, famine or war.

We will up date this web site to include information you might want if you want to visit any of the churches involved or know what regular groups they run. Go to “News” in the menue down the left hand side of the screen. There will be links to other churches in Dronfield and district and to the web site of Churches Together in Dronfield and District of which we are a part.

We will update with events we are planning as we organise them and we will put them in the News section. All the Christmas services can be found there.

There is a “God is … “slot which might be just a sentence or cartoon or a whole true life story from someone local. There are Children’s pages with pictures to print off and colour and puzzles and quizzes which are regularly updated. The latest one is very festive.
There is opportunity for you to e-mail or post back prayer requests anonymously if you wish. We have groups of Christians who will gladly pray for families, singles, the widowed or divorced, schools, businesses, local government and health care professionals in our area. They meet together at least once a month and many groups weekly to pray. Click this link and it takes you to our Post (or e-mail) a Prayer page.

If you’d like to investigate Christianity and the claims that Jesus made and if He is what you are looking for then a good place to start is in our “Links” section of the menu where there are 2 good web sites designed especially for spiritual seekers.

If you’d like us to send you free leaflets about a range of subjects to help you in anything you or your family are going through then go to the “Leaflets” section of the menue.

Carnival has left Dronfield but God hasn’t! Follow the links starting here to see what happened over Oct half term with the Carnival Reports
